TIDE Genetics at Cell UK 2026
Great edit.
Now prove it!
Why Sanger sequencing and TIDE GxP have their place in approved gene and cell therapies
Event programme · Start-up Zone
Jelle ten Hoeve, CEO of TIDE Genetics, gives a 10-minute talk, part of the event program, on the journey from an editing result to a method that can stand up to review, transfer and routine use.
At Stand E · 12–13 November
The analytical challenge
The question changes as your programme matures.
In research, the question is whether an edit worked. In development, the method behind the number comes under scrutiny. At release, teams must show a reliable result for every lot, supported by records an inspector can follow.
That calls for an analysis method that is practical to repeat, transfer and validate, not only a compelling result from a single experiment.
Did the edit work?
How do you know?
Can you show it every time?
The precedent
Evidence for the method.
The FDA’s public CASGEVY release specification lists TIDE as the method for measuring on-target editing frequency under both identity and potency. It is a concrete example of a Sanger-based analytical method specified for an approved CRISPR therapy.
The public document identifies the method, not a software vendor. Each programme must establish that its own assay and implementation are suitable for their intended use.

From the first experiment to regulated work.
TIDE quantifies editing efficiency and insertion/deletion outcomes from Sanger sequencing traces. Choose the workflow that fits where your programme is today.
TIDE R&D
Fast, accessible quantitative analysis of genome-editing experiments, with editing efficiency and an indel spectrum from your sequencing data.

The same quantitative method for regulated workflows, with validation documentation, audit trails and change control to support qualified use.
See you at Cell UK
Come for the conversation. Stay for the stroopwafels.
Meet us at Stand E in the Start-up Zone on 12–13 November. We would welcome a conversation about editing analysis, analytical development or QC. Coffee and Dutch stroopwafels will be waiting.
